Course Description:
In this course, you’ll explore Virginia’s natural communities and the diverse flora that define them. We’ll begin with five foundational online classes covering plant morphology, an overview of plant taxonomy, the physiographic provinces and geology of Virginia, and an introduction to natural plant communities.
Monthly 90-minute online sessions begin in November, with the first five providing the essential framework for understanding plant communities and plant identification.
