About the event
Our spring membership meeting will also be our first garden tour of the year!
We'll be meeting in the outdoor pavilion at Aikido Fredericksburg (rain plan - we'll move inside)
Madison Morgan, Education & Outreach Coordinator of the Tri-County City Soil & Water Conservation District will provide a talk on the Virginia Conservation Assistance Program (VCAP) and how it is utilized to prevent and control stormwater pollution and address runoff concerns. .
After the speaker we will have a quick membership meeting and then tour the Goldsmith/Pienkowski land adjacent to the Aikido Fredericksburg building and pavilion. There you will see the fields, gardens and forest Aviv and Donna have been working on for years. There will be a longer and a shorter tour, so you can pick your own adventure!
Please bring: a folding chair, a bag lunch (if you like), a water bottle and walking shoes.
