About the event
This will be our final native plant garden tour of 2026 and it will be a totally new experience. We'll be visiting cattle farm land in the west side of Stafford County, the address will be provided after you RSVP for the tour.
The property owners have been slowly converting the lawn around their home to native beds for the past nine years, mixing in some beloved non-natives. You will see a great variety of sun-loving perennials, most grown from seed by the home owner. There are great number of native shrubs and trees, many purchased from Tree Fredericksburg.
For those that don't mind about a 1/4 mile stroll down a very slight incline, there is a pond to visit and then a forest path to walk - with some hidden secrets!
Another place that is a "not to miss" and our final garden tour for this season.
